Our GOAL at Outer Banks Farm is to breed quality Warmbloods and sell them as weanlings and yearlings into the Dressage and Jumper horse market.
This GOAL is accomplished by developing relationships with the leading breeders in the world and following the best practices of genetics, management and nutrition.
Outer Banks Farm is located in the heart of Amish Country in NE Ohio. Its gentle rolling hills and quiet countryside provide the ideal environment for raising strong, healthy foals, that will grow up to their genetic potential and be top performing athletes. Our facilities include a state of the art foaling barn, individual paddocks and large pastures surrounded with the safest fence we could build for horses.
Outer Banks Farm is a life long dream of Don and Dee Kapper. A lifetime of caring for horses and their well-being shows in the special attention each horse is given. From breeding to delivery, then from birth to young adults, mares and their foals receive special hands-on care daily from Dee, a nurse, and Don, an equine nutritionist.
